Darning Socks

I just took a break from the slow sorting involved in moving from a house lived in for well over 20 years to mend some small holes in a pair of wool socks. I used an agate egg as a darning egg, LOL. And red thread on grey socks. No one's perfect. :-)

Few people seem to darn socks these days. We live in a throwaway society. I don't think that's good for the earth or us.

But who has time to darn socks? Do I?
