T is for Toe

T is for Toe by Mary Stebbins Taitt

Hey, this is cool, I am catching 3 birds with one stone.

1)This is for ABC Wednesdays, which is on the letter T. See also "T
is for Tree."

2)I'm still slowly working on my meme of things I like with letters of
the alphabet. I love Sophia's toes. What could be cuter than a
baby's fingers and toes? I did the standard thing when my babies were
born, I checked their fingers and toes--yup ten fingers and ten toes and so
tiny and perfect. And I love trees. Whenever I do gratefulness
lists, trees are right up their near the top. They are SO beautiful
and peaceful and serene--fractals they are, the organization of chaos.
The marriage of Goddess and Nature.

3)I am working on an Alphabet book for my grandchildren (but at the
rate I am going, I won't get it done on time, WAHN!) I am including
THEM as parts of the book.

Yesterday, I wasted almost the entire DAY trying to order a single
Christmas gift--and FAILED. I was so angry and frustrated, because I
needed to get it done AND I had other stuff to do too. But I started
over this morning and succeeded in ordering that gift and three
others. Phew. So, I have the right to take a short break by working
on another git--THIS ONE! LOL!

B is for Boy

B is for Boy--the second in my new Meme of things I like and love from the alphabet. I love this boy, my sweet Grandson. He's a real darling boy and I am not even prejudiced or anything! He's a sweetie. Click image to view larger.

S is for Sun

Remember that meme I started working on with the letters of the alphabet? If you don't, I don't blame you; it was a while back. I was working backwards and got stuck on X and then I was traveling to Hamilton and NY and never got back to it. I decided to do it out of order--on a whim. By my delight. AND if I complete it, I am going to make a little book out of it for my grandchildren. So some of the pictures will have them in it. Here's the first of the new series. I
want them to be "works of art" so to speak, since I want to make a little book out of them.

OH, for the meme, I was supposed to say things I liked and I do like sunshine and sunflowers. Especially in the cooler weather (the sunshine, that is.) It's warming and cheery and pleasing. I love the cheery sunshine and the cheery sunflowers and I love the way the sunflowers follow the sun. And I love the spiral design made by the seeds in the center of the seedhead. I also decided not to necessarily confine the book to one page per letter. Here is S is for Squirrel.
