On the Drawbridge at Grad Bled

Keith and I had a fairyland-like Honeymoon in Slovenia, but I've been too busy to post about it. I cropped and Ortonized* this picture. (Click image to view larger.)

*[I applied the "Orton Effect." I did this using the blur, sharpen and collage functions on Picasa, which is a free download. (Sharpen one, save a copy, blur one, save a copy, then sandwich them using the multi-exposure in collage in Picasa--it gives it a "misty, dreamy look). This is easy to do in Picasa, and free.]

Nice orton! Ain't Picassa the best? I am constantly tempted to install it on my work computer, but haven't worked up the gumption yet.

Cool! Thanks for the explanation. I'll try it when my geraniums bloom again ;]

Thanks so much Berrybird and Blue Rose! It does great Ortons. Picasa that is. Of course, you can also do them in Photoshop, but it is slower and the results aren't necessarily better.

You could install it at work if you could convince them it would help with work. Which it might if you take work-related photos.
