Snake Charmer

This is me more than half a century ago. I was looking for something
else for another blogger, and found this. It was at the Serpentarium
in the Adirondacks. I was used to handling wild snakes that would
bite. I probably didn't need to hold the head of this snake like this
(however, later, I was bitten on several occasions by large boas.)

The only good thing I can say about snakes is, "They taste like chicken."

I love seeing this, too!

I'd rather have one as a pet, than eat one. I had a roommate once, who had a boa she named Willie. He never bit us. He just liked to weave in and out of our hair.

I'd rather have one as a pet than eat one, too, but I have eaten them. I didn't kill and cook them myself, though.

I like snakes, a lot.
