First Light on my Sketchbook Project art

Well, I've been busy with traveling and working on my novel for NaNoWriMo, and I haven't been at all happy with this sketchbook--poor quality paper!!  I like to do water media and paper is too thin and transparent for that.  But here are my efforts, such they are.  Andrea's are so much better!!!

The inner cover is done with pigment pens

The first 2-page spread of a turtle is done in watercolors.

Pink Evening Primrose, Texas; water-color pencils and pen and ink.

Last Roses of Autumn;  water color pencils.

Leaning Tower:  Pigment pens and water-color pencils.

Engakulated; Pigment pens and water-color pencils.

Disengakulated; Pigment pens and water-color pencils.

Click on any images to see them all enlarged.

Thanks so much John. I'm not terribly happy with it. I don't like the paper (and I'm not a good enough artist to compensate.)
