If it doesn't represent Syracuse or Cornell, perhaps you should not specifically mention them. Just say that the city and university are fictional.
I love the knocking on wood at the end.
I intend to leave it as ESF and Syracuse, I just don't want anyone to think the terrine things I write about, which are fictional, actually happened there or might.
Always wise to give the "health" warnings. We often assume others know as we do and of course this is not so.
@John--thanks, John, it occurred to me that people might try to eat the mushrooms I talk about. And that could be dangerous for the uninitiated.
