After leaving the comments on your blog (and mine) Peter has come around to seeing how the spam-like comments might put some folks off. He has posted an apology on his blog, called Note to Self, where he says he is changing the way he approaches people. He seems very sincere and motivated to start a real dialogue.
It's funny to me that you chose a (modified) image from the particular real world place that you did. If I am identifying it correctly, I had considered sending images from the same place. Too funny.
It is probably the place you identified, one which shows up on E's screensaver.
I haven't had time to visit Peter.
I haven't posted any more notes on any other blogs. Once again, I'm sorry.
