A light and not-so-light look at Christmas. OK, so OUR CHOICES to create global warming by making car pollution and industrial pollution and not regulate it or stop it means the rain forest is moving up to the north pole and threatening Santa (never mind polar bears and at the South Pole, penguins!) How come no one cares? They are in the pocket of big business, that's why, caught in the rut of consumerism and wearing blinders.

Doesn't bear thinking about. I suppose so long as we don't use air-conditioning to compensate at least we would save a bit by not having to heat our houses up. What annoys me at some places is you go there in a heatwave and the air conditioning is up so high you freeze your socks off then in the winter it is heated up hotter than it would have been in the summer without the air conditioning.
That exactly fries me. They make it colder in summer than they do in the winter and hotter in winter than it is in the summer and fo no good reason! It's bad too for health!!!!
