Tannin prints; another new post from what used to be the blog called The Invisible Trail but is now being moved here. I am fascinated in the fall by the way the leaves give up their tannin and make leaf prints on the sidewalks. Click images to view larger.

It is interesting. It occurs to me as I read this post that I have very few interactions with sidewalks these days.
I, too, have little sidewalk interactions, and I should have more, working downtown. I rarely get out at lunch. I need to take more walks.
Walks are good! I'd prefer to walk out in the woods on trails, but this is what I have most days these days.
