First, Taffy peed on the mantle and the paint came off. Mom was mad but I laughed my head off. Then, she peed in my prize cactus. I was furious and there stood Ma, guffawing. Taffy chewed a hole in a bag of potting soil and spread dirt all over. And that was just the beginning.

Cats are evil. Plain and simple.
I wouldn't have put it that way! (In fact, I didn't, LOL!)
Taffy would make a cute rug in front of the fireplace. Or maybe a cute house slipper for a small, one legged man.
Well, since it was 1961, she's probably good and rotted away by now.
Funny how we forget these things. I remember her being a NICE cat.
Peeing on the mantle is quite a feat of acrobatics. Cats are such silly beasts, to think of such a thing.
The cactus was on the mantle too, and we laughed and laughed imaging her backed up against it's sharp spines (once I got over being furious!).
