Self-portrait of the Artsit on a Diet II

Self-portrait of the Artsit on a Diet II, by Mary Stebbins Taitt.

I wish I'd put this on Imagik. And vice versa. BUT HEY, here it is.
Being on a diet is very depressing. My fear is that I will have to be
on one for the rest of my life.

I love it! You are a phenomenal artist, the kind I strive to be. My self portrait on a diet painting was dark, monochromatic, and depressing. This has color, vibrancy.I see a bit of hope in it. Maybe that's hope for a chocolate creme pie, but it's hope none the less :)

WOW! Thanks so much. I consider myself a marginal artist at best, so I am deeply honored by your kind comment!!!

Dark, monochromatic and depressing is how I often feel while dieting, so that would be appropriate!

I am holding out almost NO hope for a chocolate creme pie because I am allergic to chocolate and dairy and very negatively affected by sugar. MMMmm, but I do remember them and they were good.
