Janathon, Day 14, + New Art (Keith's stare)

Keith's Stare
Biker Buddy, Listening to Music, by me, Mary Stebbins Taitt
5 x 7, pen and ink, plain white paper
I just realized that I need to get back to work on the Sketchbook Project for the Brooklyn Art Library, as the deadline is fast approaching, so I made this little sketch,  It's my husband--or--it's supposed to be.

As far as walking, I had two back to back walks today.  The first was for 15-something and the second 35-something.  The sidewalks were snowy, icy and slippery and it was COLD.

I also worked on a poem.  It's called "A Winter Phone call, Leda speaks to Cygnus."  If you would like to see it, leave me a note to that effect.

I feel I am getting to know Keith well, you have captured so many different aspects of him with your imagery.

Thanks, John. I keep trying, but none of my pieces really capture him entirely.

WOW, this is very "Keith" -- true to likeness & his mannerisms (the way his hand is, & his eyes). You are getting very good at capturing likeness in portraits, don't you think?
